For over 40 years, I have devoted my life to the art of paper-making in Rotterdam, NL. Crafting each sheet by hand using traditional techniques, I strive to create something truly unique and beautiful. But my work is about more than just aesthetics; it is also about sustainability and the circularity.

I believe in using natural, locally sourced materials and using waste wherever possible to create paper that is both beautiful and environmentally responsible.

I hope to share my passion for paper-making with others and help them understand the beauty and significance of this timeless art form.

Why paper?

Written language was probably the most important invention. It allows knowledge to be transmitted over multiple generations of time. There are modern replacements, but the written word made transfer of knowledge possible. So without paper we could have never multiplied our technical, philosophical and medicinal wisdom.
